Will you be my Valentine!

Have you ever been in love?

February, the month which promises us a lot of things. The month which gives everyone an opportunity to live more in it's shortest day period on the calendar. It is a month of change. The cold thoughts of winter transform to warm feelings of summer. Everything starts to look different, to the days and the nights, to the winds and the tides, to the aura and the flora and to motions and all our emotions. The month is so special that it has its own season. The season of love. Valentine's Day.

Finally, here she is after almost a year of our first interaction and six months to my first and many proposals and her rejections, she finally agreed to be my Valentine. It is like watching her for the first time. A person full of self-esteem, honesty, and dignity. A person with the sweetest smile and compassionate heart. She is the one, I've always felt.

She started walking towards me and suddenly all the chattering in the restaurant turned to silence. It is like one of those romantic Bollywood movies when the hero meets the heroine and the time stands still. With her each step my heart is becoming more unstable. Everything started getting blurred as my eyes took the authority to only focus on what matters. Yes, her.

She looked beautiful. She always did. Her walk is full of grace and charm. Her eyes were sparkling through her glasses with assurance. Her untied long hair and black suit are complimenting to her simplicity, her very first trait which made me stand in front of her cupid and convince him to hit me with all he got. She's is like the finest verse of a poet's lifetime.

My eyes ignored to flinch, even for a nanosecond, as it cannot disdain her presence. With every closing distance, my heart skipped a beat. I felt nervous. To my consent, the winds were changing their courses just to make her feel comfortable.

Suddenly, the waiter started pushing me. Sir, your phone is ringing. I've seen the waiter before. Where is this bright light coming from? What is happening? I cannot see.

"Bhaiya alarm band karo", my roommate screamed and with that my dream was over. Over before me saying 'Hi' to her. But I wasn't angry. I smiled, I smiled to the fact that this is the furthest I've gone to meet her. I smiled to fact that today is Valentine's day. I smiled at a coincidence, that " Mere sapno ki raani kab ayegi tu" song is playing in my neighbourhood. And with that, I reassured myself of meeting her again soon.
