Early Mornings

It was 6:30 in the morning and I was about to finish the final lap of my morning run. Fully exhausted and drenched in sweat, I took the bench nearby overlooking the entire Jogger's park.

The park which was constructed in such a manner that its track which is approx 2m in width run parallel to its boundaries. To the center of the track was a lush green ground which has a four bench seating arrangement at the entry gate and I was sitting at the first. The whole area was covered with different kinds of flower plants and big trees.

I looked up and it was still dark. The sky was merely lit by the dawn and the light from the lamp posts, covering the full length of the running track at every 5m was shining at their full glory. With some deep inhales and exhales I had calmed down the heavy thumping of my heart which was so loud that a person can hear it from an arm's distance.

There were people from all age group busy following their own routines. To my center in the ground, there was a group of middle-aged men and women doing meditation on their respective yoga mats, who were continuously been disturbed what may be seen as their grandchildren. To their right there was a couple helping each other with yoga. The track was occupied with around 15 pairs of running and jogging legs. Everyone was busy but at the same time calm and relaxed.

The fresh morning breeze with the fresh light of the day was so powerful that even the stress and anxieties had to take their time off.

I've always believed that early mornings are the best treatment for anything. It may not heal but, it will always help.

There is an old proverb :
Early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise.

Well, for me :
Early to bed and early to rise makes everyone fit and fine.
